Tsutomu Nihei returns with another apocalyptic future earth, this time with a planet jumping virus. His return continues in the same vein as his previous works, amazing architectural drawing style complete with vaste, dense metropoli. However, Biomega is much more focused on the first element of domination in a conflict that Blame! was -- speed. Where Blame! was so unique in its endless scope and overwhelming ideas, Biomega is much more clean cut, so much so that it almost plays out as a usual manga with very linear development... But trust 弐瓶 勉 -- it won't get boring.
The second half plays out into his usual themes: transhumanity and replacement, death, happiness and humanity's growth-based outlook.
-Had to divvy it in two because of mediafire's 200mb limit.
